John Cale in Austin Texas during the Summer of 1988

"I saw him with Michelle Malone opening in Austin during the summer of
1988 (probably July). It may have been at the Steamboat, but I'm very
fuzzy on those details. What I remember is being surprised that he did
"Waiting for My Man", and that audience response after his last encore,
after the house lights came on and after the Ramones began playing
over the sound system, was so strong that he was eventually forced to
return, apparently somewhat unwillingly, and play an extra encore."
